At Delish Meals, our goal has always been to serve fresh, homestyle, wholesome meals.
We are now upgrading our cooking process by preparing most of our dishes in high-quality olive oil to make your daily meals lighter, cleaner, and more aligned with modern healthy eating.
This change allows you to enjoy your favourite ghar-ka-khana with a more balanced lifestyle.
Which items are cooked in olive oil?
All daily meals and most menu items are now prepared in olive oil, including:
✔ All dals & sabzis
✔ Rice preparations
✔ Friday Specials (except deep-fried items)
✔ Sooji-based items
These are the foods you eat every day and that’s where this upgrade matters the most.
Which items are NOT cooked in olive oil?
Some foods require specific cooking methods to maintain their authentic taste and texture.
The following will continue to be prepared in canola oil:
• Roti / paratha (for proper softness & roasting)
• Deep-fried items (samosa, tikkis, puri, etc.)
Will the taste change?
No, your food will still taste like true homestyle ghar-ka-khana ❤️

Is there any price increase?
No. There is absolutely no price increase.

Why not use olive oil for frying and rotis?
Olive oil is best suited for regular cooking, sautéing, and gravies.
For:
• high-temperature deep frying
• phulka/roti roasting other oils give better and more authentic results which is why we use them only where technically required.

We use high-quality cooking-grade olive oil suitable for Indian cooking temperatures, ensuring both:
